Apologies for not keeping this updated. Have had a very busy couple of weeks. Just this week gone by I've:
Become a student - again. I've started studying Millinery* at my old College as an evening course. Performed up North in Bolton where I met some lovely other performers; Had a Photoshoot in London that yielded some promising pictures; helped finish organising an Afternoon Tease in Southampton (taking place on the 3rd at the Arthouse) and have been battling a cold. Needless to say the cold was triumphant and I am now in recovery. And my stock tip for the week? I've personally sent  Lemsip's sales sky high….

But since I was so negligent here are some pictures from the weekend.

Vanity Photoshoot… I'm more then happy to admit these are more Spring then Autumn but have a look anyway. These were taken on a Chilly Autumn day in London and have yet to be photo shopped, but I like them. Am now thinking I may have to find a parasol similar to the one in the photo…..

*Millinery.
The art of creating hats and headpieces. I love playing with hats and fascinators, and I decided to attend a Millinery Course. We're being taught the basics by someone who really believes in doing things the old fashioned way. And while I appreciate the skill and time involved, it doesn't stop me wanting to run before I can walk and start aiming to create flights of fancy woven from absolutely anything I can get.

If anyone is interested in how  the progress is going, message me or comment and I'll keep updating the Blog with millinery updates.

**For those not Top Gear aware. Stig is not Stig of the dump - but instead a racing driver superhero who's ability with an engine knows no bounds.

Life is wonderful sometimes.
This weekend I'm performing at HMS Pin Up, have two photoshoots booked and will be meeting a design student to work on new costumes for some stunning routines.
Plus I've thought of a wonderful new christmas routine which I may well be going into overdrive to create in time for this year.

I love performing and I absolutely adore the planning stages of new routines.

Hurricane season 09/10/2009

Wow - that was a hectic week.

It started last Friday when I was a live window display for the Art House Southampton. That was written up with photos in the local paper which was lovely.
Then it was a photoshoot, meetings about some new routines and appearances and a very lovely invitation (that must currently remain top secret). All this as well as being asked to help organise a Southampton event.
Am very much looking forward to this weekend. I recently got engaged and will be having a wedding planning weekend as well as performing at Portsmouth's HMS Pin Up.

Hope you've all been having a lovely week, and thank you for all the questions I've been E-mailed. I've done my best to reply to each of them but will be posting up a FAQ covering the most popular enquiries.
