The weather here in the UK seems to have taken a turn into early Autumn which just happens to be my favourite season. In celebration my mind is starting to think about what new Autumn clothes I should buy this year.

One of my few clothing regrets is not being able to buy a Alexander McQueen trench a couple of years ago. I fell in love with it, but the rent needed paying so I put it back on the hanger and walked away with a heavy heart. Now imagine my delight when I see this - a Trench that reminds me of that very coat, but at a much lower price….now where can I get some silver skull buttons?

One of my favourite bands is just about to launch a new album! Apocalyptica's 7th Symphony will be out 23rd August.

I've just ordered a new pot of powder from T. Le Clerc. A fabulous company that makes the most gorgeous shades of powder in pastel shades reminisant of Laudree Macaroons. I've used the peach shade for quite a while but for a new routine I need a perfectly pale glow reminisant of a true ice maiden. Their Parme version will apparently give me the perfect iced tone so am excited about getting to play with it when it arrives. Full review to follow this month. Let's just hope I don't leave this behind in a changing room like I did my last pot..

Biscuits! While I'm trying to resist all forms of bad food, these M&S cookies are far too yummy to be bad for you. From Lemon Meringue to Apple Crumble, they are currently pure temptation for me. (And will be the fuel for this weekend of wedding planning)

A week behind due to a fabulous weekend away in Kent last weekend, but better late then never (as the football coach said to the national team).

This week, along with nearly everyone else on the planet, I'm swooning over the i-phone4. Having to wait a couple of weeks to get one but really looking forward to it. I do adore Apple products even if I do wish they could grow up a bit when it comes to Flash...

I'm starting hunting for my wedding cake and have fallen in love with the fabulous cakes at Maison Blanc (
www.maisonblanc.co.uk/) - how gorgeous are they? And in my hunt for cakes I decided to pass on the address of my favouite blogs, www.foodbeam.combeautiful.

And what week wouldn't be complete without some music to listen to as I try to recreate some of those fabulous cakes in the Kitchen. Luckily one of my favourite bands, the very talented 'Apocalyptica' is gearing to launch their new album "7th Symphony" and have started releasing the odd track online. Listen here to the single featuring Gavin Rossdale. www.myspace.com/apocalyptica

While this last week has been quite miserable weatherwise, I'm hoping the lovely summer weather will be back soon.

This fabulous Indian Summer parasol - how absolutely perfect for warm sunny weather. Am imaging lazing underneath this on a hot day with chilled champagne, fresh mangos and good friends

Or maybe sat underneath with an ice lolly.
I'm rediscovering the pleasure of Mini Milks. So lovely and cooling and somehow currently compensation for lack of chocolate bars… Although I 'm not expecting that to last….

Last week at Hay, I wore a Vivien of Holloway dress and as always, recieved plenty of compliments. I did promise to pop up a link, so here it is:
