Last weekend was the wonderful Battle of Burlesque at the Ministry of Burlesque's show in Brighton.

I performed my Stig routine alongside the wonderful Raspberry Ripples. A newcomer to the scene who is absolutely fabulous.

Backstage was busy with Immodesty Blaize popping into say hello, Mr B the gentleman ryhmer  and a host of other performers (not to mention the wonderful Kittie Klaw) all being wonderful

Apologies for not keeping this updated. Have had a very busy couple of weeks. Just this week gone by I've:
Become a student - again. I've started studying Millinery* at my old College as an evening course. Performed up North in Bolton where I met some lovely other performers; Had a Photoshoot in London that yielded some promising pictures; helped finish organising an Afternoon Tease in Southampton (taking place on the 3rd at the Arthouse) and have been battling a cold. Needless to say the cold was triumphant and I am now in recovery. And my stock tip for the week? I've personally sent  Lemsip's sales sky high….

But since I was so negligent here are some pictures from the weekend.

Vanity Photoshoot… I'm more then happy to admit these are more Spring then Autumn but have a look anyway. These were taken on a Chilly Autumn day in London and have yet to be photo shopped, but I like them. Am now thinking I may have to find a parasol similar to the one in the photo…..

*Millinery.
The art of creating hats and headpieces. I love playing with hats and fascinators, and I decided to attend a Millinery Course. We're being taught the basics by someone who really believes in doing things the old fashioned way. And while I appreciate the skill and time involved, it doesn't stop me wanting to run before I can walk and start aiming to create flights of fancy woven from absolutely anything I can get.

If anyone is interested in how  the progress is going, message me or comment and I'll keep updating the Blog with millinery updates.

**For those not Top Gear aware. Stig is not Stig of the dump - but instead a racing driver superhero who's ability with an engine knows no bounds.
